The Environmental Research & Education Foundation has a mission to advance scientific research and create educational pathways enabling innovation in sustainable waste management practices. The EREF has a vision to light the way towards a more circular economy. EREF’s Strategic Objectives are unbiased, scientific reports and analysis on waste management practices. Scholarships are provided for high potential graduate students and internships for highly qualified undergraduate students who specialize in targeted research to expand industry knowledge and understanding of the waste streams from generation to final disposition. The goal of such scholarships will improve public understanding of solid waste streams and sustainable solid waste management practices by increasing industry knowledge through educational programs.
